Bearing & Gear Puller Components Speed the disassembly process of your NV4500 rebuild by using pullers specifically designed for the job! These pro quality tools are the same as shown on our NV4500 rebuild video. Bearings are enclosed during pulling reducing the risk of breakage and injury. Due to the cost, we offer these mainly for the pro rebuilder. For the one time rebuild, you probably already have generic pullers that will do the job, however, we want to make sure you know up front what extra tools you may need to perform a rebuild so we have made notes of possible alternatives for each jaw set. Always use eye protection and appropriate safety measures when using these or any other puller. If you are unsure of how to safely pull bearing components, have a machine shop remove your bearings. |

QT2017 Mainshaft Rear Bearing Jaws is really nice to have when you are disassembling a transmission with a good mainshaft, but you won't use it on about 90% oe NV4500 rebuilds from diesel trucks because the fifth gear worked loose and spun the rear bearing on the shaft. Use with the QT2014 puller.

As an option you can use a bearing splitter with a center forcing attachment to remove the mainshaft 5th gear, mainshaft rear bearing, and countershaft rear bearing. The same setup can be used on the countershaft front bearing if the bearing cage and rollers are removed. A bearing splitter supported in a hydraulic press is the fastest method to remove the input bearing. Made in U.S.A. |
